In a devastating incident, a man, a woman, and an infant boy lost their lives in a road crash in Co Tipperary, as confirmed by Gardai.
The tragic single-vehicle collision unfolded shortly before 9 pm on Tuesday when a car collided with a wall in the Windmill Knockbulloge area of Cashel.
Fatalities and Hospitalization
Gardai reported that the adult male and adult female, who were occupants of the rear seats, were tragically pronounced dead at the crash site.
Meanwhile, the infant boy’s body was transported to Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel.
The adult male driver and adult female front seat passenger from the car have also been taken to Tipperary University Hospital, where their condition is described as serious.

As emergency services continue their efforts at the scene, the road in Windmill Knockbulloge will remain closed to traffic throughout the night.
This incident follows closely on the heels of another tragedy in Co Tipperary, where four individuals lost their lives in a car crash in Clonmel.

Thousands attended a vigil in Clonmel to honor their memory, with local priest Fr Michael Toomey expressing deep sadness over the incident in Cashel, describing it as “just heartbreaking.”
