British boxer Tommy Fury has reportedly been asked to leave a Halloween attraction in Lancashire following allegations that he intimidated staff during a night out with friends.
The 27-year-old was visiting Scare City, a Halloween theme park near Chorley, on Saturday when his behaviour allegedly prompted complaints from several scare actors.
According to a source quoted by The Sun, Fury appeared to become increasingly intoxicated as the evening progressed, with staff members claiming he behaved rudely and confronted workers at the attraction.
The source alleged that the boxer squared up to employees and smelled as though he had been sick before management eventually asked him to leave.
Footage obtained by the publication reportedly showed Fury confronting a scare actor before kissing the actor’s clown mask.
Female Employee Claims She Was Frightened by the Boxer
A female employee at the attraction alleged that Fury lunged towards her during the incident.
Speaking to The Sun, she described feeling frightened by the encounter, saying she had not expected to face a confrontation with a well-known boxer while working at the event.
She also claimed that security personnel were present and that other actors had been instructed not to engage with him.
Another worker expressed frustration over the alleged disruption, saying the attraction was intended to provide entertainment for families.
Tommy Fury’s Representative Disputes Account of the Incident
A spokesperson for Fury offered a different account of the encounter, telling The Sun that several members of staff had asked the boxer to participate in playful face-offs with them.
The representative also claimed that some employees subsequently sent messages expressing how pleased they had been to see him.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Scare City said the attraction took the safety and wellbeing of its scare actors seriously and confirmed that the matter was being investigated.
The Daily Mail said it had contacted representatives for Fury and Scare City for comment.
Fury and Molly-Mae Hague Previously Split Over Alcohol Problems
The reported incident comes after Fury and his fiancée, influencer Molly-Mae Hague, experienced a high-profile separation in 2024, which they attributed to problems linked to his drinking.
The couple first met on the reality television programme Love Island in 2019 and subsequently built a family together.
Their separation was announced in August 2024, when they revealed that their relationship had broken down. Fury later acknowledged that alcohol dependency had played a major role in the split.
The couple rekindled their relationship in May 2025 and have since welcomed their second child, a son named Midas. They also have a daughter, Bambi.
During their separation, Hague documented aspects of their relationship difficulties and co-parenting arrangements in her Prime Video series.
Molly-Mae Describes Emotional Impact of Relationship Breakdown
In the series, Hague spoke about the emotional toll her former partner’s drinking had taken on their relationship.
During a conversation with her mother, Debbie, she described feeling hurt by the experiences she had endured and explained that alcohol had affected occasions she had hoped to enjoy.
Hague recalled pleading with Fury not to drink at her sister’s wedding, describing the situation as upsetting.
She also said that seeing him brought back painful memories from the period surrounding their separation.
Hague explained that she had never wanted their daughter to grow up in a separated family, while acknowledging the difficulties she had experienced during their relationship.
Tommy Fury Links Drinking Problems to Hand Surgery Recovery
Fury previously explained that his alcohol problems developed during his recovery from reconstructive hand surgery in January 2024.
The boxer had suffered ligament damage in his hand in 2019 and underwent surgery several years later. He said the recovery period affected his mental health and prevented him from maintaining the training routine that had shaped much of his life.
According to Fury, losing his usual fitness schedule and professional routine contributed to a period of excessive drinking.
He described replacing training sessions with nights out, drinking beer and taking shots, sometimes with the intention of becoming blackout drunk.
Fury acknowledged that his drinking affected his ability to be the partner he wanted to be and ultimately contributed to the breakdown of his relationship with Hague.
Boxer Admits Alcohol Became a Way to Cope With Mental Health Struggles
Fury said his mental health had deteriorated during his recovery, which followed what he described as an exceptionally successful year for his career and personal life in 2023.
He explained that training and family had been central to his identity and that losing the ability to train left him searching for another way to feel better.
The boxer said alcohol initially appeared to provide relief, as it gave him a temporary feeling similar to the satisfaction he experienced after training or competing.
However, he acknowledged that drinking created a cycle in which he would wake up feeling worse and want to drink again in an attempt to improve his mood.
Fury also rejected suggestions that infidelity had caused the separation, maintaining that alcohol was the principal issue in the relationship.
He previously urged people experiencing similar difficulties to recognise that drinking would not resolve their underlying problems.
