On Sunday night at the Olympic Stadium in Stockholm, she achieved her first Diamond League victory in the women’s 100m hurdles, clocking an impressive time of 12.52 seconds.
Sarah Avalanche from Ireland finished in second place with a time of 12.73 seconds, while Pia Skrzyszowska from Poland claimed third place with a time of 12.78 seconds.
A Strong Start in the Diamond League Series
Just a few days prior, Tobi Amusan secured second place in the opening leg of the Diamond League series held in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The victory in that race was claimed by Jasmine Camacho-Quinn from Puerto Rico, who finished in an impressive time of 12.40 seconds.
However, Tobi Amusan was determined to improve her performance and clinch a win in the subsequent race.
