TJ Holmes Finalizes Divorce with Marilee Fiebig
TJ Holmes has reached a resolution in his divorce from his ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig, nearly a year after the public exposure of his extramarital relationship with former co-anchor, Amy Robach.
This affair, which was brought to light by DailyMail.com, led to the removal of both Holmes and Robach from their hosting positions on Good Morning America. Despite the scandal, the couple has chosen to remain together.
Divorce Paperwork Submitted
According to court records, which were first reported by US Magazine, the finalization of the divorce proceedings was initiated on October 11, 2023.
TJ Holmes and Marilee Fiebig are slated to appear in court once more on January 9, 2024. The former couple, who share a 10-year-old daughter named Sabine, began the process of ending their marriage in December 2022 when Holmes filed for divorce. This legal move followed the revelation of his extramarital affair.
Thirteen Years of Marriage
Marilee Fiebig, an immigration attorney, and TJ Holmes had been married for nearly 13 years prior to the public disclosure of the affair.
Although reports indicated that the couple was separated at the time the affair became known, it is suggested that Fiebig was taken by surprise when news of the off-screen relationship emerged.
A Covert Affair
TJ Holmes and Amy Robach had been co-hosting Good Morning America for a period of two years before the exposure of their affair.
The romantic involvement had been blossoming behind the scenes for approximately six months before they were spotted on romantic getaways in November 2022. Notably, both presenters had been married to their respective spouses for over a decade at the time.
An insider source revealed that the two couples were known to spend time together, participating in activities such as running and socializing as a foursome. This revelation shed light on the complexity of the situation surrounding Holmes, Fiebig, Robach, and their respective spouses.
Despite the turbulence surrounding their personal lives, TJ Holmes and Amy Robach have chosen to continue their relationship beyond the professional realm.
