‘The River’ May Spoilers: Will Lindiwe or Emma lose a child?

Will The River’s Emma and Zolani lose their daughter or will Lindiwe lose Andile forever?

Lindiwe will lose her third child after Mbali (Zenokuhle Maseko) and Tumi (Larona Moagi) if Andile gets killed this season.

‘A GRIEVING MOTHER FINDS HERSELF AT THE END OF HER TETHER’  

The River TVSA May teasers indicate that a mother will grieve for her child – this could either be Lindiwe or Zolani’s wife and baby mama – Emma (Lunathi Mampofu).

We know that Emma lived a dodgy life before she and Zolani (Lawrence Maleka) got married. She lived a double and was pretending to be a doctor when we met her.

Lindiwe exposed her and even attempted to kill her twice in season three. Zolani finally made peace with her past and forgave her when she fell pregnant and the pair got married.

The teasers indicate that her past will come back to haunt her and that she might lose her daughter. This might be someone she’s wronged in the past and wants revenge.

She and her daughter’s life might be in danger as the Monday 2 May teasers reads:

“Zolani’s life is thrown into chaos when he learns of his wife and child’s fate.”

The Thursday 12 May teaser also indicates that Emma knows who her enemies are:

“A mother feels guilty about a secret that she’s hiding.”

The Wednesday 18 May teaser reads:

“A grieving mother finds herself at the end of her tether with the hate she’s getting from her family.”

This teaser indicates that the Dikanas won’t forgive Emma after her daughter’s death.

‘THE RIVER’: WILL LINDIWE LOSE ANDILE?  

A sangoma in season two warned Lindiwe that she will lose her children and all the people she loves because of the people she murdered.

The sangoma offered to cleanse Lindiwe (Sindi Dlathu) so she can start over and she refused.

Lindiwe has lost two daughters in previous seasons – she lost her youngest child – Mbali Dikana in season three and Tumi Mokoena-Dikana in season four.

Her only son – Andile (Lunga Mofokeng) is being kidnapped this season and the kidnapper is demanding R100 million.
