Adam Thomas’ Playful Warning to Wife During Strictly Come Dancing Performance
During the live show of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday, Adam Thomas, the 35-year-old Emmerdale star, delivered a humorous warning to his wife, Caroline.
He joked that she should “stay away” from his co-star, Bobby Brazier, in a light-hearted moment.
An Unexpected Interruption
After completing a street dance routine to the Backstreet Boys’ hit “Everybody” alongside his dance partner Luba Mushtuk, Adam decided to have some fun.
He playfully halted the show to address his wife, who was seated in the audience. Host Claudia Winkleman mentioned Caroline’s presence and Adam’s affection for her, to which he responded with a cheeky remark.
A Comical Warning
Adam humorously stated that the only reason Caroline had attended the studio was to get closer to Bobby.
He even suggested that she had her eye on Bobby and jokingly warned her not to “make a move” on him. The soap star’s quips drew laughter from the audience as he playfully asserted, “Stay off him, he’s mine, okay!”
A Touching Tribute and Appreciation
While the exchange was lighthearted, Adam also expressed his genuine appreciation for Caroline, describing her as his “rock.”
He acknowledged her presence in the audience and the positive impact she has on his life, making him feel confident and supported.

Adam and Luba received a score of 32 points for their routine, positioning them in the middle of the leaderboard.
Their performance carried emotional significance for Adam, as it was dedicated to his brothers Ryan and Scott, who supported him during the loss of their father.

The judges praised Adam’s performance. Head judge Shirley Ballas found the routine lovely, emphasizing its cool attitude.
Anton also commended it as the best dance of the series so far. Motsi Mabuse echoed the sentiment, noting it as Adam’s best performance. Craig appreciated the energy and attitude, stating that Adam did his brothers proud.
A Heartfelt Tribute
Adam’s father, Dougie, passed away unexpectedly in December 2020. The actor shared the emotional moment when he tried to save his father’s life, reflecting on the unexpected turn of events.
