Dreaming of Strictly Come Dancing
Coleen Nolan, the 58-year-old presenter known for her appearances on various reality shows, including her Celebrity Big Brother win in 2017, has revealed a long-standing desire to participate in Strictly Come Dancing.
However, she shared with the Daily Star that despite her interest, she has never received an invitation from BBC bosses.
“I’ve given up and erased that one because it’s never going to happen,” Coleen expressed regarding her hope to join Strictly.
She continued, “They just won’t and never have.” She even humorously added, “Knowing my luck they’ll come to me when I’m 85 or something and I can’t dance or move.”
The Dancing Dilemma
Coleen further explained the challenge she faced, stating, “It’s the one challenging reality show I’ve always wanted to do ever since it started but I did Dancing on Ice, but it’s a thing at Strictly that if you did Dancing on Ice, you can’t do Strictly.”
She reflected on her experience on Dancing on Ice in 2009, where she partnered with professional skater Stuart Widdall and secured a fourth-place finish. Despite the opportunity it provided, she admitted that had she known about this rule, she might have reconsidered participating in Dancing on Ice.
Future Aspirations and Animal Adventures
Exploring New Horizons
Aside from her desire to dance on Strictly, Coleen Nolan shared her aspirations for future projects. She expressed a keen interest in working with animals, inspired by the likes of the late Paul O’Grady, known for his animal-related TV shows. Coleen exclaimed, “I’m obsessed with animals. I’d love to do a show with animals.”
Family Podcast and Unfiltered Conversations
Additionally, Coleen mentioned her interest in starting a podcast with her children, particularly her eldest son.
She believes that a family podcast could offer a unique dynamic, allowing different generations to share their opinions on various topics without holding back.
She noted that within a family context, open and candid discussions could be quite enjoyable.

Coleen Nolan also revealed her upcoming “Naked” tour across the UK, scheduled for the next year. During this tour, she plans to share her personal journey through tears, laughter, and music, performing a selection of her favorite songs that have been meaningful in her life.
The tour is set to kick off in Blackpool on February 9 and conclude in Swansea on March 28, promising an intimate and emotionally charged experience for her fans.
