The sale of this six-bedroom property, which has been a subject of speculation since 2018, was confirmed at a price of £15 million.

Cowell, known for his roles in television shows like The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, has been considering this move for some time.

Amidst market uncertainties, Cohort Capital, a specialized lender, swiftly approved a £5.5 million loan for an undisclosed buyer, facilitating the purchase of the property at its listed price.

Matt Thame, the founder of Cohort Capital, emphasized the importance of efficiency in the luxury real estate sector, noting that their industry expertise played a pivotal role in sealing the deal within a remarkably short time frame.

The house offers several appealing features, including off-street parking for up to four vehicles, a private bar, and a gym.

Its location in a highly sought-after neighborhood makes it a favored choice among the affluent.

Notable figures such as Ed Sheeran and the Beckhams are counted among the prominent residents of this upscale West London area.

Inside, the house boasts an art deco design with a distinctive touch reflecting Cowell’s musical background—a set of custom lacquered ‘piano’ wood doors.

The property’s dimensions could potentially be expanded from its current 5,800 square feet to approximately 8,300 square feet if planning permissions are secured for a basement conversion.

This additional space could encompass around 2,500 square feet, presenting exciting possibilities for the future owner.

Interestingly, the new owner may choose to take inspiration from fellow celebrity Dua Lipa, who recently obtained approval to enhance her Hampstead residence.
