Saudi Arabia reports 1,024 new COVID-19 cases, 298 recoveries

RIYADH, 2nd January, 2022 – The Saudi Ministry of Health (MoH) announced the registration of 1,024 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 298 recoveries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the past 24 hours.

The ministry added that the number of critical cases reached 69, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The ministry’s statistics showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 558,106, while the recovery tally reached 542,413.

MoH reported one new death, bringing the fatalities tally in Saudi Arabia to 8,879.
