Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, but cloudy in the east with evening showers and thundershowers over the Highveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Mostly cloudy with isolated evening showers and thundershowers in places in the south.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool in the west with scattered showers and thundershowers, but partly cloudy and warm in the east with isolated afternoon thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool in the west with scattered showers and thundershowers, but partly cloudy and warm in the east with isolated afternoon thundershowers.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool in the east with scattered showers and thundershowers, but partly cloudy and warm in the west with isolated thundershowers.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, but strong by the afternoon.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy and warm along the coastal areas in the morning with intermittent light rain along the south coast, otherwise partly cloudy over the interior with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers over the north-eastern parts.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly to southerly along the south coast, otherwise fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half -Partly cloudy and warm but cool along the coast. It will become cloudy with scattered showers and thundershowers from the afternoon, but isolated along the coast and adjacent interior.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south westerly.

The Eastern half -Partly cloudy and warm, with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated along the coast.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light south westerly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in places in the north. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in the south-west, otherwise isolated except in the north-east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly becoming fresh in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
