Rasmus Hojlund Confirms His Commitment to Manchester United Amid Transfer Talks with Inter Milan This Summer

The summer transfer window is heating up, and all eyes are on Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund as rumors swirl about his future.

With Inter Milan showing strong interest, the young forward has finally spoken out to clarify what lies ahead for him.

Hojlund Addresses Transfer Speculation After International Duty

Fresh off Denmark’s 2-1 win over Northern Ireland in a friendly match, Hojlund sat down for an interview with TV 2 Sport to clear the air about his situation.

Despite the ongoing chatter about a potential move, the 22-year-old made it clear he still sees his future at Old Trafford for now.

“I have a contract until 2028, so I expect to play for Manchester United,” he said confidently.

“I’m looking forward to a summer vacation, and then I’ll be fully focused on the project that’s underway at the club.”

A Tough First Season at Old Trafford

Hojlund joined United last August from Atalanta for a hefty £64 million fee, with potential add-ons pushing that number even higher.

However, his time on the pitch hasn’t gone exactly as planned.

The striker managed just four goals in 32 Premier League appearances last season, leaving fans and club officials hoping for a stronger follow-up campaign.

Despite the struggles, Hojlund isn’t distracted by rumors or media noise.

“I know I can’t get much from reading things,” he said.

“I know what the facts are — I have a contract with Manchester United.

I expect to play there, so I’m just getting ready for some summer vacation and hopefully a good pre-season.”

Manchester United’s Plans and Transfer Window Moves

That said, Manchester United are actively looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer.

Reports suggest the club is willing to listen to offers for Hojlund if they come from the right buyer.

Inter Milan have already made further contact about a permanent deal, hoping to add the striker to their ranks.

Meanwhile, Inter are undergoing some changes of their own, with Cristian Chivu set to take over as head coach after Simone Inzaghi’s move to Al-Hilal.

The Nerazzurri were Serie A’s top scorers last season but narrowly missed out on the title to Napoli.

New Signings Signal Ambition at Old Trafford

Back at United, the club has already taken steps to address attacking woes by signing Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million.

They are also in talks with Brentford over a second improved bid worth more than £60 million for winger Bryan Mbeumo.

With all these moves in motion, it’s clear Manchester United are determined to rebuild their frontline.

For now, Rasmus Hojlund remains part of that plan — ready to prove himself in the upcoming season.
