RAK Ruler receives Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region Government in Iraq

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Government in Iraq, in Saqr bin Mohammed City. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, attended the meeting.

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi welcomed the visiting head of Kurdistan government and his accompanying delegation, and discussed with him ways to bolster cooperation relations between the UAE and the Republic of Iraq, especially the Kurdistan region, at various levels. The two sides also exchanged conversations on an array of issues of common interest, and discussed expanding the horizons of partnership to serve common goals and interests.

H.H. praised the depth of the brotherly relations between the UAE and the Republic of Iraq, as well as the frameworks of the growing strategic partnership between them.

For his part, Barzani expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, for the generous hospitality and good reception, stressing that it reflects the strength of the cooperation relations between the two countries, especially the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
