The highlight of the celebration, Sunday’s parade, witnessed the royal couple publicly tying the knot once again, despite having already done so legally earlier in the week.

Prince Abdul Mateen, 32, and Anisha Rosnah, 29, graced the occasion in splendid attire, with the prince donning a white and gold ceremonial uniform, while his bride wore an elegant long white dress adorned with jewels.

The open-top Rolls Royce procession saw the couple waving at thousands of well-wishers before arriving at the Istana Nurul Iman Palace.

Public Appearance Post Legal Wedding Ceremony

This public appearance marked the first time the newlyweds were seen together since their legal wedding ceremony conducted earlier in the week.

Photographs captured the couple participating in a public marriage ceremony beneath an extravagant pergola before heading inside the palace for a formal blessing.

Later in the day, an estimated 5,000 attendees, including international royalty and dignitaries, were expected at a reception at the Istana Nurul Iman Palace.

The formalization of Prince Abdul Mateen’s marriage to Anisha Rosnah took place on Wednesday in an Islamic marriage ceremony attended exclusively by male members of the wedding party, including the prince and his father, the Sultan of Brunei.
