Two men were arrested today at Appleby Horse Fair by police.
On suspicion of violent disorder, a 37-year-old man and a 24-year-old man from outside the county were arrested.
‘Expert officers are actively reviewing CCTV footage with the goal of identifying offenders and making additional arrests,’ said Chief Superintendent Matt Kennerly.
Officers also seized a number of weapons, including various types of sticks and bats, as well as bladed weapons.
