‘Peru’ Remix thrills fans, makes top streaming song

The remix of Fireboy’s hit track ‘Peru’ featuring Grammy-winning British music star, Ed Sheeran has continued to make wave across streaming platforms, earning over 5 million views so far on Fireboy’s Youtube page alone.

The video has over 200 thousand likes and no dislikes on YouTube.

The song also had Grammy Award singer Ed Sheeran delivering lines in the famous pidgin English.

Peru also had the Peruvian government urging its people to listen, suggesting the Peru crooner got his inspiration from the country’s name, Peru.

In a tweet, it said; “PERU PARA, PERU PERU PARA!!! Seems like @edsheeran and @fireboydml were inspired by our country to launch their newest hit?”
“Have you already listened to it? It’s called “Peru” and sounds really catchy!

The song was released on 24 December.

Before the release, Ed Sheeran revealed how impressed he was with ‘Peru’ and said he had the song on repeat for a week.

“It’s addictive, and I’m obsessed with it.

I mean, Cherry will tell you, I’ve had this song on repeat constantly in the house for the last week,” he said.

Fireboy DML thrilled his fans with ‘Peru’, which was released in July.

The song, produced by Shizzi, was part of Fireboy’s upcoming album, the singer said during its release.
