England soccer star Harry Maguire is official off the market and the player was very low-key about it.

The Manchester United captain reportedly married his long-term partner, Fern Hawkins, in a very private wedding at the Registry Office on Thursday 12 May.

MAGUIRE AND HAWKINS SAY ‘I DO’

According to the Mirror, the wedding venue was kept a secret, even from guests who were only told via text where the nuptials would take place.

The publication also reported that the Man United star could not wait to marry his fiancée, as he reportedly rushed off during training at the club’s Carrington training ground shortly after midday to head straight to the Registry Office ceremony.

A source also told the outlet that Hawkins will have the wedding of her dreams in France later this year.

“It was a closely guarded secret to all but their closest family and friends. They wanted to be officially married in the UK before they head to France. That will be a fairytale wedding day for Fern.”

As per the Examiner, Maguire and Hawkins (both 29 years old) are childhood sweethearts. They are both from Sheffield and they have been together for more than 10 years.

The couple, who share two daughters aged 3 and 2, got engaged in February 2018 when the footballer got down on one knee during a romantic getaway in Paris.

To mark a decade of their love, Hawkins penned a beautiful anniversary message on Instagram in June 2021.

“One decade down; forever to go … I love you always.”

In another, she thanked her fiancé for sending her a huge bouquet and wrote: “Missing you so much @harrymaguire93 thank you for the most beautiful flowers. Happy 10 years my love.”
