Kick-off at the Thohoyandou Stadium will be at 19:00.
Ironically, Marumo Gallants bought the PSL license status of TTM last season.
Saturday, 30 April’s second semi-final promises to be a blockbuster as the top two sides in the DStv Premiership – Mamelodi Sundowns and Royal AM – lock horns at the Chatsworth Stadium, also at 19:00.
The date for the Nedbank Cup final has not been confirmed at time of publishing.
The winner of the tournament will book themselves a place in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
However, should Mamelodi Sundowns or Royal AM lift the trophy, they are already likely to have secured a place in either the CAF Champions League (Mamelodi Sundowns) and/or the CAF Confederation Cup (Royal AM).
Nedbank Cup winner will bank R7 million
Although not confirmed, it may be a case of the runner-up being awarded that CAF place on offer, making the result of the TTM v Marumo Gallants tie of utmost importance.
The winner of this season’s Nedbank Cup will also take home a cool R7 million in prize money, with the beaten finalist banking R2.5 million.
