Despite this deep-rooted connection to Christianity through his great grandfather and grandfather, Josiah Ransome-Kuti and Reverend Israel Oludotun Ransome-Kuti, respectively, Seun boldly declares his allegiance to traditional Juju worship.

Seun Kuti acknowledges his family’s historical significance as pioneers of the Anglican side of Christianity in colonial Nigeria.
However, he asserts that his personal spiritual journey has led him away from conventional religious paths.
