The peaceful village of Boscastle in Cornwall has been rocked by concern as a local chef, Alexander Key, has gone missing, leaving his family and the community deeply worried.

Alexander, 37, who shares two young daughters with Assisi Jackson, granddaughter of rock legend Sir Mick Jagger, was last seen leaving a local pub, sparking a frantic search.

Last Sightings Caught on CCTV

CCTV footage reveals Alexander sitting alone at the Cobweb Inn around 2:30 pm last Friday before leaving roughly an hour later.

The images, later shared by the pub, prompted staff to appeal to the public, emphasizing the deep worry of his family.

The following evening, Alexander was reported missing to Devon and Cornwall Police, triggering an urgent public appeal to locate him.

Authorities are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare as searches continue throughout the Boscastle area.

Family Joins the Search

This morning, Assisi’s mother, jewellery designer Jade Jagger, 54, shared the police appeal on social media, urging followers to come forward with any information.

Jade posted photos of Alexander, describing him as medium-built, with striking bright peroxide blonde hair, and typically seen wearing vibrant clothing.

In the images shared, Alexander is wearing a noticeable orange patterned jacket—a detail police hope will help the public spot him.

Jade, daughter of Mick Jagger and Bianca Jagger, has expressed the family’s mounting concern as the search continues.

Boscastle’s Scenic Yet Treacherous Terrain

Boscastle, a picturesque coastal village renowned for its dramatic harbour and cliff-top walks, draws visitors year-round.

However, its rugged terrain can be hazardous, especially during the winter months, increasing worries for Alexander’s safety.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen him or has information on his whereabouts to call 999 immediately, referencing log number 847 of 24/1/26.

Family Life and Local Roots

Alexander and Assisi live in Cornwall with their daughters, Ezra, 11, and Romy, six.

Alexander co-owns The Rocket Store, a popular seafood restaurant in Boscastle, with head chef Freddie Woodruff.

The restaurant is well-known for using fresh local ingredients, including fish caught daily by Alexander’s father and meat sourced from their family farm.

The eatery also features a striking painting of a star constellation by Assisi’s father, Piers Jackson, blending family heritage with local charm.

Generational Bonds

The family’s story is further enriched by unique generational ties.

Jade Jagger, while pregnant with Assisi’s half-brother Ray Emmanuel Fillary, welcomed her grandson Ezra only weeks earlier, making her both a mother and grandmother to babies born within weeks of each other—a rare and remarkable family milestone.
