Sunday, 30 January 2022 – The source of the Nairobi River that is located nearly 13 miles to the east of central Nairobi is sparkling clean.

As the river approaches the city, the sight of plastic bags, water bottles, and other non-biodegradable waste becomes unavoidable.

The condition of the river progressively worsens as it continues downstream.

A Twitter user captured a photo and video of the source of the Nairobi River to highlight how pollution has destroyed the beauty of the famous river.
