Louis Tomlinson spent Thursday exploring Sydney while in Australia for the latest leg of his solo How Did We Get Here? World Tour.
The 34-year-old singer was spotted at Sydney Seaplane, where he boarded a small boat for a cruise across the harbour after meeting fans earlier in the day.
Tomlinson was accompanied by Kent “Smallzy” Small, who hosted the meet-and-greet event organised through KIIS FM’s KIIS Presents iHeartLIVE.
Singer Keeps His Look Casual
Tomlinson opted for a relaxed outfit during the waterfront outing, wearing a loose white T-shirt over a long-sleeved top, faded blue jeans and white trainers.
He completed the look with round sunglasses as he took in the harbour scenery.
The singer had also attempted to keep a low profile when he arrived at Melbourne Airport, wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up and sunglasses. However, his entourage, which included several security guards, made him difficult to miss.
Australian Tour Continues After Melbourne and Sydney Shows
Tomlinson began the Australian leg of his tour with a performance at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Tuesday night.
He then performed at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday before travelling to Brisbane for a scheduled show at Riverstage on Saturday.
The singer last toured Australia in 2024 as part of his Faith in the Future world tour.
In recent months, he has continued performing internationally, including a concert in Paris in April that featured an appearance by his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan.
Tomlinson Explains Why He Avoids One Direction’s Biggest Hit
Although Tomlinson rose to international fame as a member of One Direction, fans should not expect him to perform the group’s breakthrough hit, What Makes You Beautiful, at his solo concerts.
The singer previously explained that he did not particularly enjoy performing the song, which helped propel the British-Irish boy band to global stardom in 2011.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2, Tomlinson described the track as the group’s most overtly pop-oriented song and said performing it had often felt uncomfortable.
He recalled that he was 18 when the band first became successful and that being part of a boy band was not initially considered particularly fashionable.
Tomlinson also described the song’s lyrics as somewhat corny, comparing their tone to something that would not be out of place in a Disney film.
His comments offered insight into his feelings about the group’s early musical style as he continues to build his career as a solo performer.
