She was quickly transported to Bellevue Hospital and remains in critical condition.

The Suspect and His Arrest

Police swiftly apprehended the 51-year-old Hispanic man believed to be responsible for the stabbings.

Authorities confirmed he was a resident of the Bellevue Men’s Shelter and had been arrested eight times before, with one case still pending.
