Kim Kardashian channeled Salma Hayek’s iconic bikini look from the 1996 film From Dusk Till Dawn in a video posted to Instagram on Wednesday.
Kim wore a tiny burgundy velvet bikini with gold metal detailings and a large dangling pendant down the middle of the top. She also sported a massive feathered headpiece which resembled Salma’s from the movie.
Kim’s costume was praised by Salma herself, who reposted the video on her Instagram Story with the caption: “Bravo @kimkardashian I’m so honored. You’ve brought back some wild memories! And a little PTSD [laughing while crying emojis] Kim wore it best [hand clap emoji].”
On Halloween, Kim joined forces with her sister Khloe to channel Bratz dolls.
The sisters wore plaid mini skirts and matching tops, with Khloe choosing a yellow ensemble and Kim opting for pink. They also wore thigh-high stockings and boots, and accessorized with gold jewelry.
Kylie Jenner also got into the Bratz spirit, debuting her own doll collection for the toy company MGA Entertainment in August.
The collection features three dolls: Kylie in a sporty outfit with a lip-shaped purse, Kylie in a high-slit gown with a small gray dog by her side, and Kylie in a lavender feathered Versace mermaid gown.
