One month after giving birth to her daughter Matilda, Jasmine found herself in unexpected pain, which led to an emergency dental surgery.

And through it all, her new partner Matt Branistareanu was right by her side—supporting her, holding down the fort at home, and showing up in ways that clearly mean the world to her.

A Painful Surprise After Baby Matilda’s Arrival

On Thursday, Jasmine opened up on Instagram about a health scare that left her in tears.

She posted a close-up of her face showing clear signs of discomfort, along with a message to her followers explaining what had happened.

“I had an emergency surgery on one of my teeth,” she wrote.

“My gums got so messed up during pregnancy, it caused some issues.”

It turns out, pregnancy took a toll on more than just her sleep schedule—her dental health took a serious hit too.

Matt Steps In When Jasmine Needs Him Most

As she detailed the painful experience, Jasmine praised her boyfriend Matt for stepping up in a big way when she needed him the most.

“I called Matt, basically yelling out in pain,” she shared.

“He came home, found me an endodontist, and set up an appointment.”

While Jasmine headed off for her procedure, Matt stayed home to care for their newborn daughter, affectionately called Matty.

After the surgery, Jasmine said she spent the rest of the day asleep, recovering from both the pain and the stress. “You’re the best, Matt,” she added. “I appreciate you so much.”

Celebrating Baby Joy Amid Life’s Chaos

This whirlwind of emotion comes just a month after Jasmine gave birth to Matilda on March 20.

On April 8, the couple introduced their baby girl to the world in a heartfelt message to TLC:

“Introducing Matty, our sweet baby girl! She’s already filling our hearts with so much love and joy.

We’re beyond grateful for this new chapter in our lives.”

Matilda is Jasmine’s third child—she also has two sons, Juance and JC, from a previous relationship.

And while this new chapter is full of love and fresh beginnings, Jasmine couldn’t resist throwing a little shade at her ex.

In another Instagram Story post, Jasmine seemed to indirectly call out her ex-husband Gino Palazzolo, hinting at past disappointments in their relationship.

She wrote, “Then you see how you moved 2300 miles away for someone who wouldn’t even drive you 5 minutes away… vs someone that won’t hesitate to be there for you unconditionally and that showers and smells good on top of that.”
