Ivanka Trump gave her followers a rare behind-the-scenes peek at her life in Washington, D.C., after attending her father’s national address before Congress.
On March 4, Ivanka, 43, and her husband, Jared Kushner, 44, were in the capital to support President Trump as he outlined his ambitious vision for the “next American Golden Age.”
Family Time and Instagram Snaps
After the event, Ivanka took to Instagram to share a few heartwarming moments from the evening. One of the pictures shows her standing side-by-side with President Trump in a kitchen, both of them smiling as they enjoyed a glass of tomato juice.
Ivanka looked stunning in a knee-length black dress paired with a matching blazer, while her father wore a classic navy blue suit with a red tie.
In another sweet moment, Ivanka and her dad posed in front of an elegant piece of artwork, with Ivanka leaning affectionately into him.
She also shared a photo of herself and Jared sitting at a dinner table with the president, though the meal they had remains a mystery.

In a conversation on The Skinny Confidential podcast, she shared, “I’m most looking forward to just being able to show up for him as a daughter, be there for him, take his mind off things, watch a movie with him, or watch a sports game.
I want him to know that he can relax with me and just be himself.”
Maintaining Close Ties
Although Ivanka and Jared stepped away from the political scene, they’ve kept a close relationship with the president.
The couple continues to check in with Trump regularly and even travels between Miami and Palm Beach for occasional golf games.
During the summer months, they also stay at their home at Trump’s National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., where the family gathers to unwind and enjoy some quality time together away from the Florida heat.
