Nigerian Singer, Mayorkun Hunts for Stolen Pendant in Calabar

Mayorkun’s Valuable Pendant Stolen During Performance

Adewale Emmanuel Mayowa, popularly known as Mayorkun, encountered a distressing incident during his performance in Calabar, Nigeria.

His precious pendant was stolen amidst the energetic performance, sparking a fervent search to retrieve it. The singer, deeply attached to this particular piece, vowed to reward 5 million Naira to the individual who returns it.

Celebrity Involvement and State’s Response

Initially expressing frustration and a decision to avoid returning to the state, Mayorkun’s resolve shifted when fellow celebrity Iyanya stepped in to assist.

With Iyanya’s help, one of the stolen chains was recovered. Adding to this, the state’s governor, H.E Prince Bassey Otu, personally met with the singer and pledged to compensate him for the loss of his valuable belongings.

Ongoing Hunt and Reward for the Missing Pendant

Despite the recovery of one chain, Mayorkun remains steadfast in his search for the pendant that holds immense sentimental value.

He continues to offer the substantial reward of 5 million Naira to anyone who successfully returns this cherished item, highlighting its profound significance to him.
