Anita Baker Interrupts Houston Concert, Requests No Phone Recording
During her performance in Houston, Texas, the renowned singer Anita Baker made an
unusual request to her fans, asking them to refrain from recording her show using their phones.
This interruption occurred on Friday night, December 15, adding a unique twist to the concert experience.
Uncertainty Surrounding Front Row Removal
Adding to the intrigue, Baker reportedly requested security to remove certain fans from the front row.
However, it remains unclear whether this action was solely due to the use of phones during her performance or if other reasons prompted this decision.
Past Tour Controversy and Recent Events
This incident isn’t the first time Baker’s tour has stirred controversy. Earlier in June, headlines surfaced when she removed Babyface, her scheduled accompanying act, from the tour.
This decision came after Baker addressed issues of cyberbullying, verbal abuse, and threats of violence from the fan base directed towards Babyface.
Concerned about personal safety, she opted to continue her tour, named “The Songstress Tour,” independently, promising appropriate refunds for affected attendees.
