Hon.Monday Simon declares interest to constest for reps Guyuk-Shelleng, donates 2 sienna Buses to APC

A grassroot Politician and former Vice Chairman Shelleng local government council Monday Simon has declared intention to run for house of Representatives seat for Shelleng- Guyuk Federal Constituency come twenty-twenty three general elections.

He has equally presents two sienna buses to All Progressives Congress APC in Guyuk and Shelleng to run the Party affairs.

Speaking in Guyuk Local government APC Secretariat while declaring interest, the house of Representatives Hopeful said the decision to run for the seat follow Clarion calls from stakeholders of the area and his passion to move the Constituency to greater heights.

He noted if given the mandate, various developmental projects will be executed in Shelleng and Guyuk with a view to enable people feel impact of government.

Monday Simon who described Vote as a weapon of electorate appealed to People of Guyuk and Shelleng to vote credible leaders for meaningful development.

According to him the areas were left behind interms of development assured people that he will consolidate on his efforts at bringing the desired change in the zone.

The Aspirant solicited support from delegates to enable him clinch the party ticket as he has the capacity to deliver.
Earlier in their separate remarks, the APC chairman of Guyuk Yahya Bode and that of Shelleng Yawale Tela described Monday Simon as a true philanthropist whose contribution cannot be Quantified.

They have equally saluted him for providing the party with mobility describing it as unprecedented and assured of him of their unflinching support at all times.

In his remark, the Director General Monday Simon Campaign organization Alhaji Bala Babayo called on APC executives and eligible voters to Accord Monday Simon necessary support as he will not let them down.

He said numerous boreholes were reactivated, provission of Sporting equipments to youths, scholarships to students, provission of drugs to health care facilities as well as over nine vehicles were distributed by Monday Simon in both Guyuk and Shelleng local government areas.

Some Youths, Women and elders who spoke during the event described Monday Simon as a sellable candidate whose projects speak for him.

Hundreds of supporters and well wishers graced the declaration ceremony.
