Holly Willoughby is stepping into a very different spotlight as she prepares to launch her new YouTube series, Together, leaving behind the polished daytime television image that made her a household name.
The presenter embraces a more relaxed and cheeky style in the promotional trailer, which features playful innuendos, unexpected mishaps and moments of unfiltered humour ahead of the show’s debut on July 28.
Trailer Teases Humour, Celebrity Guests and Unscripted Moments
The first glimpse of the series reveals a fast-paced mix of comedy, lifestyle content and celebrity appearances.
In the 40-second preview, Holly experiments with sausage-making, chats fashion with comedian Joanne McNally while trying on tracksuits, and bonds with actor Stanley Tucci over a shared appreciation for spaghetti hoops.
The trailer also showcases a side of the presenter viewers rarely see, with Holly dropping a swear word after a kitchen experiment goes spectacularly wrong.
Laughing at the chaotic moment, she jokes that the experience makes her feel “like I’m on OnlyFans,” highlighting the more playful and less scripted tone of the new production.
A Lifestyle Series Split Into Five Themes
Rather than following a traditional talk-show format, Together will be released twice a week and organised into five recurring segments.
These include Talk Together, Cook Together, Look Good Together, Better Together and Hang Out Together, each focusing on different aspects of conversation, cooking, wellbeing, fashion and entertainment.
The project also marks a significant career move for Holly, who is personally funding the production while taking on both presenting and producing responsibilities.
Alongside lifestyle features, the series will include interviews with well-known personalities.
Family Production Company Behind the New Show
Holly is developing the series with Hungry Bear Media, the television production company co-founded by her husband, Dan Baldwin.
The company has previously produced several successful programmes, including Gladiators and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show for BBC One.
By creating content specifically for YouTube, Holly is expanding beyond traditional television and embracing a platform that offers greater creative freedom and direct engagement with audiences.
Daughter Belle Helps Holly Navigate YouTube
As Holly prepares for her digital debut, she admits she has relied on advice from someone much younger—her 15-year-old daughter, Belle.
On the way to the show’s press launch, Holly recorded a video from the back of a taxi, explaining her excitement about unveiling the trailer while confessing she was still learning the basics of YouTube.
She encouraged fans to search for her new channel and subscribe, although she stumbled over the terminology before laughing it off.
Turning to Belle, whose voice could be heard giggling in the background, Holly asked whether viewers needed to press the notification bell to receive updates whenever new videos are released.
Belle’s amused reactions highlighted the generational gap, with Holly jokingly asking her daughter to stop laughing as she sought confirmation that she had explained the platform correctly.
Inspired by a New Generation of Viewers
The move to YouTube was partly influenced by Belle, who belongs to a generation that spends far more time watching online creators than traditional television.
Recognising how viewing habits have changed, Holly is using Together to connect with audiences in a new way, combining celebrity interviews, lifestyle content and light-hearted entertainment in a format designed for digital viewers rather than conventional broadcast television.
