On Monday afternoon, 31 January, a 35-year-old man was shot and died at Heerengracht Street, Cape Town. The suspects are being sought by the police.

Sergeant Wesley Twigg of the South African Police Service (SAPS) said the incident happened at 15:30 on Monday.
“Cape Town Central police were called to the crime scene where they found the victim in his vehicle with a gunshot wound. The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel,” said Twigg.
Police officers were still at the scene of the crime, near the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), at the time of writing.
The police cordoned off Heerengracht Street between the Cenotaph war memorial and the statue of Bartolomeu Diaz.
Twigg said the suspects fled the scene and are yet to be arrested.
