Antonio Brown no longer sees himself as just an athlete.
The former NFL star, who once dominated football headlines, now embraces the identity of an entertainer.
This shift isn’t as recent as some might think—it dates back to a controversial moment in 2022.
The Gisele Bundchen Photo Controversy
In 2022, Brown raised eyebrows by posting a suggestive photo of himself embracing Gisele Bundchen, then-wife of his former teammate Tom Brady.
The caption, “Put that s*** on,” only fueled the stir. Reflecting on the incident during an interview on Caresha Please with rapper and podcaster Yung Miami, Brown labeled the act as entertainment.
“At the end of the day, I’m an entertainer,” he explained.
“So I was just being an entertainer.”
However, his narrative wasn’t entirely consistent.
While attempting to downplay the post as a joke, he admitted to harboring resentment towards Brady, accusing the quarterback of not having his back.
Brown even made further suggestive comments about Bundchen, stating cryptically, “I don’t kiss and tell.”
A Rocky Relationship with Brady
Brown’s ties to Brady were complex.
After tumultuous exits from multiple teams, Brady offered Brown a fresh start with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.
Not only did Brady vouch for him, but he and Bundchen also welcomed Brown into their home while he settled in Florida.
That partnership paid off on the field, culminating in a Super Bowl victory and a now-infamous celebratory hug with Bundchen.
Yet, their relationship soured after Brown’s dramatic mid-game exit in January 2022, where he stormed off shirtless during a Buccaneers game.
Brown later blamed Brady for failing to secure the contract he wanted, framing his time with the Buccaneers as a favor to the quarterback.
“I helped him win the Super Bowl,” Brown said, expressing frustration that Brady didn’t “follow through.”
Embracing a New Chapter
Since his NFL departure, Brown has doubled down on his entertainer persona.
Despite recently suggesting on social media that he’d play for the Steelers “for free,” his comments to Yung Miami suggested he’s done with football.
“For me to be able to leave on my own, too, has helped me transition to the position I’m in now,” he shared.
When asked about his current status, Brown described his life as one of leisure.
“I’m just enjoying the freedom that comes with having money,” he said, though his financial troubles, including a recent bankruptcy filing, complicate that claim.
The Performer Persona
These days, Brown channels his energy into music and self-expression, blending controversy with charisma.
From his infamous antics to his music ventures, he’s determined to carve out a space in entertainment.
What’s next for Antonio Brown? Only time—and his unpredictable moves—will tell.
