Eritrea clinched Gold Medals at African Cycling Championship

The Eritrean Cycling National team that is taking part in the Africa Championship in Sharm El-Sheik, Egypt, recorded a shining victory.

At the team time trial held today, the Eritrean National Team won four Gold Medals in the elite categories in both genders.

In the men elite category that witnessed heavy competitiveness, Eritrea won the Gold Medal through Henok Mulubrhan, Dawit Yemane, Michael Goitom and Aklilu Gebrehiwet.

The South African and Algerian national teams won the Silver and Bronze medals following the Eritrean national team in 6 and 10 seconds respectively.

In the females’ category, Eritrea clinched the Gold Medal and the national teams of Mauritius and Rwanda won the Silver and Bronze medals respectively.Distributed by APO Group on behalf of Ministry of Information, Eritrea.
