DSS Interrogates Ogun SSG Amid Fraud Allegations
The Department of State Services (DSS) has reportedly taken action regarding the Secretary to Ogun State Government (SSG), Tokunbo Talabi, in connection with recent allegations of fraudulent activities.
According to reliable sources, Talabi was summoned for questioning by the DSS due to the serious allegations that had been leveled against him.
This invitation resulted in an interrogation session that lasted for over five hours on Friday.
The interrogation took place at the Ogun State Command Headquarters of the DSS, located in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, and began at 6:55 pm.
Talabi, who was allowed to go free based on self-recognition, faced thorough questioning concerning his alleged involvement with Superflux Printing Limited.
This company, situated on Acme Road, Ikeja, Lagos State, has come under increased scrutiny recently due to its connection with Talabi.
Notably, a petition submitted by Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome, has triggered the demand for a comprehensive investigation into the links between the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the printing company associated with Talabi.
This investigation request was addressed to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, the Code of Conduct Bureau, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The investigation specifically seeks to uncover any potential connections between the mentioned printing company and Talabi during the previous elections.
