The daughter of Captain Sir Tom Moore stated that his family is “very disturbed” by a video showing an eco-extremist defecating on his memorial.

Hannah Ingram-Moore spoke as Derbyshire Police continued to hold a 21-year-old woman arrested in London on suspicion of criminal damage in connection with the Hatton, Derbys, incident.

Yesterday, for the pressure group End UK Private Jets, a woman was filmed defecating and urinating on a monument honoring the 100-year-old World War II veteran who collected £33 million for the NHS during lockdown.

The group claims the stunt was carried out by former medical student Maddie Budd, whose father told MailOnline last night that he was “ashamed of her” and “sickened by her actions.”

Ms. Ingram-Moore stated, “We are profoundly grieved to see something that was meant to be a celebration of his life and the causes he championed used in this manner,” in relation to a protester’s desecration of a memorial to her late father.

Budd was arrested in September 2021 in London while protesting alongside doctors and health care workers on behalf of Extinction Rebellion.

In protest against the use of private planes, former medical student Maddie Budd, age 21, recorded herself spilling a pail of human excrement on a memorial to Captain Sir Tom Moore.

Hannah went online to share her feelings about the prank that resulted in the desecration of her father’s memorial with human feces.

End UK Private Jets tweeted the news of Budd’s arrest.

Budd was allegedly detained in London while attending a demonstration with fellow End UK Private Jets members. 18 police officers reportedly removed her out of the rally.

Today, we both participated in an oil protest, the spokeswoman told MailOnline.

A lawyer is said to have contacted Budd, and the group expects to learn more shortly.

The activist’s father, Jim Budd, 62, told MailOnline that his daughter had “gone rogue” after dropping out of medical school to become a full-time eco-warrior and abandoning her career.

Father-of-six Mr. Budd, an award-winning glazier, stated that he felt nauseous after viewing the film of her defiling Captain Tom’s image. Mr. Budd stated that he and his 63-year-old charity worker wife, Harriet, had attempted to contact Budd after realizing what she had done, but received no response.

Close to tears, he told MailOnline from their house near Kington on the England-Wales border: ‘The shock of this is hurting and distressing people.

“I am embarrassed by what she has done.Former medical student Maddie Budd, 21, filmed herself pouring a bucket of human excrement over a memorial to Captain Sir Tom Moore in a protest over the use of private jets

There has been a significant response from the public for obvious reasons. I do not believe she comprehends the nightmare she has unleashed.

She has done something terrible without considering the repercussions.

The vandalized memorial was dedicated to Captain Sir Tom Moore, who made international headlines in 2020 when he donated funds for charity in anticipation of his 100th birthday during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Budd attempted to defend her vandalism of the memorial by stating, “Every time a [private jet] lifts off, it throws a bucket of feces and blood on everything that Captain Tom stood for.”

Jim Budd, the father of an eco-warrior captured on tape protesting private aircraft, said he was ashamed and sickened by the footage.

He continued, “I was nauseated with amazement when I read it; I wrote her a text message, but she has not responded.”

It contradicts all you teach your children; it is not natural behavior. I’m so depressed. The truth is that she has gone renegade.

The vandalised memorial was in memory of Captain Sir Tom Moore, who made international headlines in 2020 when he raised money for charity in the run-up to his 100th birthday during the Covid-19 pandemic

Maddie had been attending medical school in Manchester in preparation for a future in the NHS until lately.

After establishing an interest in climate change at a young age, she dropped out of school to devote all of her time to protesting.

Her father stated that it was “comprehensible” for the authorities to examine what he termed a “despicable behavior.”

He stated, “I cannot apologize on her behalf. Sir Tom was unquestionably a national hero, and the nation resounded with his wonderful and astounding deeds.

We are attempting to resolve the situation, but if the cops become involved, so be it.Captain Sir Tom Moore raises a thumb aloft in celebration for his incredible work to raise money for the NHS

I do not believe it was her responsibility to disrespect his memory in such a way, regardless of how horrific the climate change forecasts may be.

Her motives are genuine yet misdirected. The truth is that she has, so to speak, gone rogue.

When individuals are young and naive, they may take risks they would not take later in life.

It is a terrible occurrence, and people are visibly distressed.

“It is quite difficult to comprehend how young people can feel so frightened by climate change as to take such dramatic acts.

But I am not excusing her behavior. She has made a disastrous error. We were horrified; this is a continuing concern.’

Mr. Budd believes that Maddie should be collaborating with a legitimate climate change action group rather than committing acts of vandalism on her own.

He stated, “Young people feel hopeless, and my daughter feels more hopeless than others.” Her actions were ill-considered and nasty; this is a terrible experience for any parent.

My wife is quite angry.

My daughter has given up her work to become a full-time protester due to her strong convictions. Thus, there is a lengthy buildup to this.

‘She intended to bring attention to this situation when it seemed that no one else does.Jim Budd, the father of eco warrior shown on video making a protest about private jets said he was ashamed and felt sick when he saw it

However, this specific action has done nothing but anger a large number of individuals. I am ashamed of her and her actions.

AGC Fabrications, the firm that created the memorial, has given Derbyshire Police a video of the stunt.

Austin Cox, the company’s managing director, acknowledged to MailOnline, “We are cooperating with the authorities and have a criminal reference number.”

We are pursuing it with the hope that they will prosecute. I can’t say much more than that at this time.

2 February 2021 The death of Sir Captain Tom is disclosed days after he tests positive for coronavirus.

Earlier, he had tweeted openly, “I am the person who donated the memorial to Thistley Meadow, and I would like to inform you that we will be pursuing Maddie for vandalism. We will cooperate with the authorities to ensure that this is dealt with as thoroughly as possible.”

The footage will be evaluated by professionals who will determine if the act constitutes criminal damage.

Derbyshire Police stated that the Captain Sir Tom Moore memorial in Thistley Meadow in Hatton had been vandalized. Our agents are aware and investigations are ongoing.’

Budd videotaped herself emptying the canister of feces and urine over the memorial of the deceased captain, who made international news in 2020 when he donated millions of dollars to charity in advance of his 100th birthday amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

And in a peculiar video explanation, she stated: ‘People are going to say he’s a hero, people are going to say this is horribly, obscenely insulting to his life and the NHS he fought for, and I agree.

I was studying to become a physician because I believe in caring for others. If we believe that the NHS is important, if we believe that caring for each other is essential, and if we believe that NHS employees perform essential work, then why are we forcing our healthcare system into collapse, why are we forcing our civilisation into collapse, and why is virtually no one taking this genocide of all humanity seriously?

Every time a UK private jet takes off, it pours a bucket of s**t and blood on all that Captain Tom stood for, despite the fact that the government refuses to end their use.

Captain Tom began walking 100 lengths of his garden at age 99 in 2020, with the intention of raising £1000 for NHS charities by his 100th birthday on 30 April.

However, thanks to media appearances, his efforts captured the imagination of the nation, and he had raised almost £30 million before his 30th birthday. When he died on February 2, 2021 after capturing Covid, he was regarded a national treasure.

The footage of Budd defecating on the memorial of the beloved captain, who received a flypast from the RAF and British Army on his 100th birthday and was knighted by the Queen, has predictably sparked popular indignation.

One Twitter user asked, “How will this persuade individuals to earn private jet use?” It appears to be a child throwing a revolting temper tantrum and being quite disrespectful. This sort of conduct will not persuade anyone to make a change.

Someone else said, “I hope she receives jail time for this.” Not at all aiding your cause; in fact, I am now opposed to you and your cause. You ought to distance themselves from this awful behavior rather than encouraging it.’

A third of the respondents questioned why Budd is no longer a medical student.

“Previous medical student? What has she become? Or is it simply too embarrassing to be made public?’

Additionally, the purported donor of the memorial stated they would pursue Budd for vandalism.

We will collaborate with the police to ensure this is dealt with as thoroughly as possible.

According to her Facebook page, Budd was detained in September of 2017 in London while participating in Extinction Rebellion protests among doctors and health care professionals.

It is well-known that aircraft emissions are substantially worse than those of any other mode of transportation, and that private planes emit significantly more emissions per passenger than commercial flights.

Numerous celebrities have been criticized for their usage of private jets, with one of Kylie Jenner’s flights apparently lasting 17 minutes.

It is predicted that her 17-minute trip would have produced one metric ton of carbon dioxide emissions.

It represents around a fourth of the average person’s annual carbon footprint worldwide.

In the four days preceding up to November 1 at the COP26 climate change summit in Glasgow last year, there were a total of 76 flights involving private jets or VIP flights arriving in and near Glasgow.
