Clement Nwafor Clocks 70,  Celebrates At Enugwu -Ukwu Njikoka Council Area

Attaining the age of seventy is considered as a great gift from God.

The deputy traditional Prime Minister of Enugwu-Ukwu Community in Njikoka Local Government Area, Sir Clement Nwafor also known as “Odu Nkata-Ukwu” in view of the above, celebrated his seventieth birthday in grand style to appreciate God for longevity.

Correspondent Emmanuel Okonkwo reports that the birthday celebration, which commenced with a Pontifical High Mass at St Anthony’s Catholic Church Enugwu-Ukwu, officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor, attracted dignitaries from within and outside Njikoka Council Area, who assembled to thank God for the life of the celebrant, Sir Clement.

 

In a homily, Bishop Ezeokafor, who commended the celebrant on his contributions in community development and propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, called on Christians to wisely make use of the life God has given them by being committed to the service of God and humanity, and warned young people against mischievous and careless life styles, which according to him are capable of truncating God’s plans for them.

In a remark, the celebrant, Sir Clement, thanked God for sparing his life till date, and promised to double his service to God and humanity in his remaining years on earth. UP SOT

 

The traditional ruler of Enugwu-Ukwu Community, Igwe Ralph Ekpeh, and the President General, Comrade Bonny Ozonkwuaku testified that the celebrant has contributed immensely to the development of Enugwu-Ukwu Community and prayed God to bless him with more and sound health.

In their separate interviews, the member representing Njikoka, Anaocha, and Dunukofia Federal Constituency, Honourable Dozie Nwankwo, member representing Njikoka One Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Timothy Ifedioramma and the Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Creative Security, Retired Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi thanked God for the life of Sir Clement, whom they described as a good and industrious man.
