Chukwudi Nkwoemezie Of NAU Awka Wins Amaokpala Educational Quiz Competition

Master Chukwudi Nkwoemezie, a three-level student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has emerged the winner of the Amaokpla Educational Quiz Competition, organized by Long Life Educational Foundation and Alpha Kapital Micro Finance Bank Limited.

The event, which took place at the Amaokpla Civic Center, Orumba North Local Government Area, also saw Miss Esther Okorocha and Miss Chiamaka Ezeudegbe,WAEC holders, emerging first and second, respectively.

Correspondent Onyinye Agụbaeze reports that the major sponsor of the event, Barrister Partick Ikwueto, lauded the participants for their breadth of knowledge and explained that the quiz is a way of inspiring members of his community to do more intellectually.

Barrister Ikwueto, who advised the winners to use the cash gift to invest in their education, assured that with a progressive report, the competition will involve the entire Orumba North Council Area.

One of the observers, Barrister Obi Ikwueto, who emphasized the importance of education, stated that it is an important aspect of life because it broadens one’s intellect on the dynamism of life, encouraging participants to continue to work hard.

While congratulating the winners, the MD/CEO of Alpha Kapital Microfinance Bank, Mr. Chidi Umeh, thanked the major sponsor for his indelible act towards humanity and education development.

The winners, Master Nkwoemezie, Miss Okorocha and Miss Ezeudegbe, thanked God and Barrister Ikwueto for providing them the opportunity and motivating them to work hard.

The grand prize winner received a sum of three hundred thousand naira, while the first and second runners-up received two hundred thousand and one hundred thousand naira respectively while other participants received consolation prizes.
