Aggressive trio attack reception staff and destroy property at Trouville Hotel in Bournemouth following nightclub assault

Trouble seems to follow some people wherever they go, and for three young women from Bournemouth, it caught up with them at the Trouville Hotel.

Just weeks after a nightclub incident, Larisa Sumovskaja, 19, Jasmine Orchard, 21, and Kera McKeown, 19, caused havoc in a hotel reception, leaving staff shaken and property damaged.

Reception Staff Face Aggression

On the morning of April 19, 2025, the hotel staff had no idea what was about to happen.

Two workers were at the reception desk when the three women came down from their rooms around 11:20 a.m.

Staff were unsure if they were guests, and when challenged, McKeown snapped back with, “Who do you think you’re talking to, bro?”

Tensions escalated quickly, and the scene turned chaotic.

Violence and Property Damage

According to court reports, Sumovskaja began shouting while holding a fire extinguisher, and McKeown brandished a vodka bottle, threatening staff.

Spitting and swinging handbags became part of the aggressive display.

One worker locked herself in a back room while McKeown and her friends hurled plant pots, pens, computer mice, and even overturned a table in the reception area.

At one point, a phone was thrown and struck a male staff member on the head. CCTV captured the trio’s actions in full.

A Troubled History

This wasn’t their first brush with the law.

Just five weeks earlier, Sumovskaja and Orchard had caused a scene at Bournemouth’s Camel Bar after being thrown out for being too drunk.

They had insulted the bar manager about his weight, spat at security guards, and swung handbags at them.

The pair were ordered to pay £600 in compensation and banned from the club for a year.

Sumovskaja had also bragged on social media about past assaults, referring to herself and Orchard as “icons.”

Court Proceedings and Roles

At Poole Magistrates’ Court, it emerged that McKeown was the “main aggressor,” Sumovskaja the second, while Orchard was mostly along for the ride.

Both McKeown and Sumovskaja admitted to criminal damage and using or threatening unlawful violence.

Orchard’s defense argued she played a minimal role, was heavily intoxicated, and regretted being involved.

She had already been under a 12-month community order for the previous nightclub incident and was showing progress by staying away from drink and the other two women.

Sentencing Updates

Orchard received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £111 in costs.

Magistrates recognized her limited involvement and progress on her community order.

Sumovskaja and McKeown will face sentencing in March, leaving many wondering if this will finally mark an end to their string of public disturbances.
