After a teenage girl was sexually assaulted last weekend at a music event, police are looking for a male.

The 17-year-old girl was attacked on Sunday, July 10 at the NASS festival in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, close to the main stage.

A man standing six feet tall with a broad or muscular physique is characterized as the suspected attacker.

He looked to be in his 20s and was carrying a black backpack while sporting a white top.

Between 8:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., according to Avon and Somerset Police, the event occurred.

The Bristol Showgrounds hosted the four-day festival, which featured performers such as Headie One, Mabel, Loyle Carner, A J Tracey, and Ella Eyre.

The festival included street art, music, skating, and a BMX ramp where some of the biggest names in the sport battled for a $10,000 grand prize.

Call the police at 101 and provide the call handler with the reference number 5222164040 if you recognize the suspect.

Additionally, witnesses can ring the independent organisation Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 and give information while remaining anonymous.
