Former Senator Advises Ishaku Abbo to Respect Court Decision

Court of Appeal Decision on Abbo’s Sacking

The Court of Appeal in Abuja recently ruled to remove Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo from his position representing the Adamawa Northern Senatorial District.

This decision came with instructions for INEC to withdraw Abbo’s Certificate of Return and issue it to the Peoples Democratic Party’s Rev. Amos Yohanna Kumai.

Abbo’s Accusations and Apology

Following his removal from the Senate, Abbo accused the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, of pursuing a vendetta against him due to their differences in the Senate.
