In the presence of the presidents of the two friendly nations, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud and H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoan, the Acting Foreign Minister and State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Balal Mohamed Cusman, signed an agreement on in-kind donation support with the Turkish Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, H.E. Murat Kurum, today in Ankara.

The agreement essentially calls for the construction of a multi-utility structure to accommodate the needs of the Federal Republic of Somalia Embassy in Turkey’s capital city of Ankara.

At the political, economic, cultural, and other levels, there are solid historical and strategic ties between Somalia and Turkey.
