Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been persuaded to run for President in 2023 by Lagosians, who have pledged their unwavering support.

On Saturday evening, a crowd of Lagosians, young and old, gathered outside the Lagos Intercontinental Hotel, the venue of the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria dinner, which the Vice President attended as a Special Guest, to express their feelings about Osinbajo’s campaign for President in 2023.

Young men and women danced to musical melodies while waving banners with diverse slogans, demanding that the Vice President run for President in 2023.

As the Vice President entered the venue for the dinner event, the youths barricading the hotel entrance were heard shouting popular political songs.

Meanwhile, the VP’ s alma mater, Igbobi College Old Boys Association (ICOBA), has put its support behind him.\

Mr Muyiwa Kinoshi, President of the Igbobi College Old Boys Association (ICOBA), stated at the college’ s 90th Anniversary dinner that the entire organization is in support of the Vice President for 2023.

According to the group’ s president, He explained that the choice to back the VP stemmed not just from the group’ s goal to develop the country’ s next leader, but also from their faith in Prof. Osinbajo’ s abilities as a notable graduate.

In other news, The former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has been reportedly seen in church preaching in a Sunday school service.
