2-year-old is hospitalized with head injuries

Police have surrounded the apartment complex where a two-year-old was discovered with head injuries and was taken immediately to the hospital.

After the youngster was discovered by a man outside Whimbrel House in Bootle this morning, a police cordon has been established.

While emergency medical personnel raced to the Liverpool scene, he placed the youngster in the recovery position and stayed with them.

The youngster has now been brought to the hospital, and a Merseyside Police spokeswoman said that the injuries are “not thought to be life threatening,” according to the Liverpool Echo.

Around 11.30 p.m. today, the toddler was spotted outside the high-rise building, and emergency personnel were sent.

According to a representative for North West Ambulance Service, “We were called at 11:38 to an incident involving a small kid aged two.”

‘Two resources, including an emergency ambulance, were sent. With a head injury, we brought the youngster to the hospital.

The toddler’s injuries is being investigated, according to Merseyside Police, who verified that this was done.

There is a police cordon in place, and there are cops, cars, and even a mobile police station on the spot.
