Zendaya wore bespoke Valentino to the 2022 Emmys

This year at the Emmys, Zendaya dazzled in an outfit influenced by stars and fashion from the past.

Pierpaolo Piccioli created a strapless ball gown especially for the “Euphoria” actress and Emmy candidate.

It was manufactured for Valentino. It had a wide skirt that flowed into a short train as well as a peplum bodice.

Speaking with Vogue ahead of the occasion, stylist Law Roach said that the look was influenced by Linda Evangelista’s 1987 Valentino outfit as well as Grace Kelly’s 1950s style.

Kelly was a talented actress and a fashion icon, much as Zendaya is now.

She often accessorised her ensembles with diamond jewellery, Hermès handbags, pearl jewellery, and, of course, breathtaking dresses.

Kelly could have also been a source of inspiration for Zendaya’s jewellery, hair, and makeup, however.

Zendaya accessorised a matching choker, diamond earrings, and a glittering ring while wearing her hair tied up with a silk band.
