Zandie wants to testify in court on Senzo Meyiwa murder trial

In her shocking interview with eNCA on July 18, South African singer Zandile “Zandie” Khumalo Gumede said that she wanted her day in court for the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.

Zandie Khumalo Gumede spoke with eNCA journalist Slindelo Masikane for the first time in public about her sister’s “baby daddy,” Senzo Meyiwa. Zandie stated that she is eager to testify in court and expressed her astonishment at not being summoned as a witness.

Interviewer: “Your sister claims that she wants a court date. Do you also want a court date?

As far as we are concerned, it has been eight years, and we have been telling the truth and nothing but the truth. Zandie: “I can’t wait for my day in court. We have been offering support in every manner we can. We were never phoned on a day when we weren’t available. I’d be more than willing to testify in court, present my case, and explain what happened.

Zandie was then questioned whether she was shocked that they weren’t the first witnesses summoned, and she responded in the affirmative.

“I am, I thought we would be the first to testify. Then they will have their own questions. I really thought we would be the first ones in the witness box but we are not lawyers.

Zandie was questioned by Masikane on her song, “Whistle.” As a result, many believed the singer was her sister Kelly’s “whistleblower” due to the time.

The song was made public shortly after advocate Malelsa Teffo, who is defending four of the five hitmen charged with Senzo’s murder, claimed to have an eyewitness who will confirm that Kelly killed Senzo “mistakenly.” Zandie, however, refuted claims that she was the whistleblower.

“First of all, I can never control what others on social media see, think, or say at any one time. I, however, am not the witness, she added.
