On Monday, Wynberg Girls’ High School made a distressing announcement that one of their students, 16-year-old Madison Zoe Wheeler, was missing.

She had been dropped off outside the school premises in Wynberg around 06:40 but was unaccounted for shortly after.

Search Efforts and Support from the Community

The school community, along with her family, immediately reached out to the South African Police Service (SAPS) for assistance in locating Wheeler.

The Pink Ladies Organization, a volunteer group dedicated to helping reunite missing children with their families, also joined the search.

Wheeler Found Safe and Returned Home

In a turn of events later in the evening, Madison Zoe Wheeler was found and safely returned to her home.
