In response to reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to put an end to hostilities before winter, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that the Ukrainian government could do so in a matter of hours.

“The Ukrainian side can stop everything before the end of the current day, we need an order for nationalist units to lay down their arms, an order for the Ukrainian military to lay down their arms, and we need to fulfill the conditions of the Russian Federation. Everything can end before the end of the day. The rest is the thoughts of the head of the Ukrainian state,” the press said -Secretary of the President.

The Russian side, he said, is led by Vladimir Putin’s words, according to which “a special military operation is continuing as planned and accomplishing its aims.” There are no projected completion dates, according to Peskov.
