In a heartbreaking incident, 17-year-old Muhammad Hassam Ali lost his life after a fatal stabbing in Victoria Square, Birmingham, near the Council House, on Saturday.

A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with his murder and is set to appear before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court.

Another 15-year-old boy has been released on police bail under strict conditions. West Midlands Police continue their investigation, analyzing CCTV footage and forensic evidence.

Muhammad was found with serious injuries on Saturday afternoon and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Witnesses described seeing Muhammad lying on a bench before emergency services arrived.
