APC Spokesperson Accuses Atiku Abubakar of Serial Electoral Losses and False Claims

Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has asserted that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25th election, is grappling with consecutive electoral defeats, leading him to pursue the nullification of President Bola Tinubu’s victory.

Atiku’s Press Conference:

This statement was made by Morka during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, shortly after Atiku Abubakar’s press briefing regarding the certificate controversy.

Atiku had demanded the release of President Tinubu’s academic credentials from Chicago State University (CSU), suspecting that fake documents had been submitted for the 2023 election.

APC’s Response:

However, the APC’s spokesperson criticized Atiku’s address, characterizing it as another instance of disseminating unfounded allegations and falsehoods.

Morka argued that Atiku’s series of electoral losses seemed to have taken an emotional toll on him, leading to the fabrication of stories to console himself.

Quote from Felix Morka:

Morka stated, “When the press conference ended, I was actually grappling with the points and the reason for that press conference.

I could not put my finger on why he actually called a so-called press conference today.

The only thing I can say is that it was simply another occasion by Atiku Abubakar to beat his tattered and empty drums of lies, distortions, untruths, and sheer falsehood.”

Discussion of the Lawsuit:

Felix Morka also clarified that Atiku and his team had filed a lawsuit to challenge Tinubu’s election on the grounds that Tinubu did not attend CSU.

This lawsuit, according to Morka, does not pertain to forgery, as previously alleged. He questioned the shift from the argument of non-attendance to accusations of certificate forgery.

Conclusion:

In summary, the APC spokesperson, Felix Morka, voiced skepticism about Atiku Abubakar’s claims and suggested that the motivation behind Atiku’s actions may be rooted in his history of electoral losses, rather than in factual evidence.
