A bottle containing flammable liquid was discovered in the chapel, raising suspicions of intentional fire-setting.

An investigation is currently in progress to identify and apprehend those responsible for this alarming incident.

Bishop Tomislav Koljatic of the Diocese of Linares issued a statement through the diocesan website, conveying his deep sorrow regarding the arson attack at St. Joseph Parish.

The Bishop expressed his profound pain at the incident, which took place on the morning of October 1.
