Tinubu’s Appointment of New Executive Commissioners for NUPRC

President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of three new Executive Commissioners who will serve in the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC). These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.

Details of the Appointments and Redeployment

The individuals appointed are as follows:

  1. Mr. Bashir Indabawa: Mr. Indabawa has been appointed as the Executive Commissioner for Exploration & Acreage Management, representing the Northwest region.
  2. Dr. Kelechi Ofoegbu: Dr. Ofoegbu, who currently serves in the NUPRC, is being redeployed. He will now hold the position of Executive Commissioner for Corporate Services & Administration.
  3. Mr. Enorense Amadasu: Mr. Amadasu has been appointed as the Executive Commissioner for Development & Production, representing the South-South region.

In addition to the above appointments, President Tinubu has also approved the appointment of Mr. Babajide Fasina

as the Executive Commissioner for Economic Regulation & Strategic Planning, representing the Southwest region.
